Bronco is hiring an experienced Senior Estimator to join our estimating team in Baton Rouge.
We’re looking for someone with 5-10 years of estimating experience and a strong background in heavy industrial construction, particularly petrochemical, refining, chemical, manufacturing, or similar facilities.
In this role, you'll own estimates from initial review through final proposal. The right candidate should have experience with:
Developing detailed estimates for lump-sum and competitive-bid projects
Structural steel erection, piping fabrication & installation, equipment installation, and other industrial scopes
Reviewing drawings, specifications, bid documents, and subcontractor proposals
Building labor, material, equipment, and subcontract pricing
Performing quantity takeoffs and building detailed estimate workups
Identifying scope gaps, risks, exclusions, clarifications, and opportunities during the bidding process
Partnering with operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to develop competitive proposals
