Interview with Ross Rumfola
As Bronco Industrial Services marks its 10-year anniversary, we're taking time to recognize the people who've helped build this company into what it is today. Among them is our Workforce Development Manager, Ross Rumfola, who has spent the past six years helping Bronco grow, and who brings three decades of construction industry experience to everything he does.
A Career Built on Helping Others Succeed
"I've been fortunate to spend 30 years in this field, a career that has allowed me to raise my family, earn a good living, and build a life I'm proud of," Ross reflects. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering with his classic truck, and settling into his recently completed home.
But it's his approach to the work itself that truly defines his career.
"I've always viewed the construction industry as a people-driven business," he explains. "I take great satisfaction in working with others, helping people succeed, and being a part of stories that make a difference. Every crew we help staff and every project we see through to completion contributes to a stronger workforce and positively impacts people's lives day in and day out. There's no other role I can imagine that provides the same level of fulfillment as helping people grow and succeed."
How has your role evolved as the company has grown?
His six years at Bronco have been marked by growth, both his own and the company's. Starting in workforce development, he quickly moved into operations as Operations Manager, then returned to workforce development, where he's made some of his biggest contributions.
When asked about his most memorable accomplishment at Bronco, he points to one achievement in particular: growing our Arkansas operation.
It's the kind of milestone that reflects the successful development of teams, processes, and opportunities that will serve the company and its employees for years to come.
What are you most excited about for Bronco's future?
"Bronco Industrial is growing, and I'm proud to have been part of that progress over the past six years," he says. "With the talented team we've built, the new players we're bringing on, and the expanding opportunities ahead, I'm confident we'll continue to strengthen our position as a leader in this industry for many years to come."
When asked what excites him most about Bronco's future, his answer is clear: "The opportunity to build one of the best teams in our market and beyond while providing others with opportunities to grow with us."
Advice for the Next Generation?
For anyone just starting their journey at Bronco, his advice is straightforward and rooted in experience: "Work hard, stay focused, and make the most of any opportunity you are given."
As we celebrate Bronco's first decade and look toward the next, we're grateful to have leaders like Ross helping to build our future.
